How to Link Satellite to Netgear Orbi Router wirelessly?

There are three nodes in Netgear Orbi mesh system. There is one router and two satellites that provide reliable and extended internet services in your house.

There are easy steps to configure Netgear Orbi system. At first, you have to setup the Orbi router node and then connect satellite to Netgear Orbi router using WPS method (sync button).

Link Orbi Router to Home Modem

There are easy steps to connect a new Orbi device to the home modem network with the help of the Ethernet cable.

• You have to place the router of the Netgear Orbi near to the modem.
• Now, you have to use the Ethernet cable to the connect both of the devices.
• The connection pattern is WAN (internet) port of the router and LAN port of the modem.
• After inserting the cable in to the ports, you have to turn on the router and modem.

Connect Satellite Nodes to Router (Wirelessly)

At first, you have to place the satellite nodes at your desired positions in your home, but the location should in the range of the router (you can place a node 30 feet maximum from the router).

• After placing the satellite nodes at position, you have to turn them on.

• Firstly, connect your computer to the Orbi device with the help of LAN cable.
• Open an updated web browser in your computer and search URL orbilogin.net or IP 192.168.1.1.
• The interface page will open on the computer screen where you have to enter Orbi admin credentials.
• Netgear Orbi user manual contains username and password of admin interface.
• Now, enter the credentials and reach to the interface where you can easily adjust the settings.

You can also upgrade the Orbi firmware version, change the admin credentials (username and password), and enable various features.

• You have to use the updated web browser to log in to the Orbi interface.
• Enter correct interface login credentials (you can find the admin details in user manual).
